Lazy Saturday

There are few joys in this world quite like being lazy on a Saturday. If only my daughter could understand that. I would probably enjoy the laziness if she weren't talking a mile a minute.

Got the booking confirmation letters for our vacation. Starting to feel much more real and it is still more than a month away. The anticipation is the worst for me. I really need the vacation and despite not being a huge fan of the beach, I have really come to love this vacation.

A year?

So apparently it has been almost a year since I last blogged. It makes me wonder two things. Does anyone even read this? And, has twitted killed the blog? I will say no and try to blog more.

Vacation this year should be interesting as we've invited a couple we only somewhat know. They are good people but it SO feels like the first weekend away with a new girlfriend. There is such a chance to kill the relationship. Just don't make an ass of yourself Derek!
