Cozumel Mexico 2011 6th Anniversary

Back to our home resort for this year. We truly love Cozumel so it isn't exactly punishment. This year marked two major changes. We used MAS points for part of our stay and that was interesting to say the least. The points are for hotel rooms not resort rooms. That meant our first two days were spent in a garden view room. Two double beds and quite packed. It was sticky the whole time because there was no way the ocean breeze could get to the room. It also meant we had to change rooms on Saturday. That was only a little lame because we were homeless for 3 hours. Still, the experience so far has been incredible.

The second change was to bring another couple and their daughter who is Haylie's age. They are great people though their daughter is a polar opposite to Haylie. They got in Easter Sunday so we are just getting adjusted to them being here. It makes me happy so I hope it goes well.

As I sit here overlooking the ocean and write this I can hear the surf crash into the shore and think we really do lead a great life. I love my wife so much at times I do not believe how lucky I was she found me.

We got Haylie's hair braided so she looks like a little beach Bohemian. She fussed a lot but I think it has settled in now.

San Miguel today for a shopping trip again to the Super Mercado for supplies. Should be a fun day.
